Damn it. I’ve been waiting for what seems like a damn eternity for Steven Soderbergh’s Haywire. It marks Gina Caranos’ first real lead role in a film. Back when it was at Lionsgate, under the title Knockout, it seemed that it would be hitting theaters around the end of summer. Well, Lionsgate sold the film to Relitivty Media, and they have set the release date for January 20th, 2012. Thats 7 months from now.

I hate waiting this long for something. On top of that, with Gina not passing her merdical exam to fight, it’s going to be even longer before we see her step back into the cage to fight again too.
