Last week I posted how Japan, like man in the Planet of the Apes, finally did it. They created the perfect non human woman that sings and dances. All through the miracle of men punching in code into a computer. That code is Hatsune Miku, and she’s raking it in for her human masters in Japan. Now, because the people demanded it, she’s coming to America. Kind of.

Regarding “English Miku” project, we’ve already done a brief recording
last week.
Now we are checking the pronunciation etc.
Those voices are very kawaii you should like them!
I hope we’ll show you a demo soon.
But please understand it takes time.

After acquiring so many fans, Miku’s creators have decided to start creating English language tracks for the cyber girl. Knowing full well that the Japanese seem to have the worst grasp on the English language,(that quote above is cut and pasted from the Facebook page.. stack of bibles on that one) I’m vary curious to hear what this high pitched Engrish voice track will sound like. Hell, it’s keeping me up right now with just the though of it. I expect by this time next year, not only will she have played about 15 different anime conventions and Comic Con, but she’ll already have a sell out tour of small clubs here in the land of the round eye.
I for one, welcome it. We in America have already destroyed music by over producing it to death but hide behind a fleshy body and lie to ourselves saying its real. Why not just embrace that music is manufactured now and run with it. Besides, she’s the first step to fucking robots anyway, and I think many of us can be down with that.
