Well, this is random, but not surprising. Seeing that Linkin Park had a bunch of Gundam models in their music video for Somewhere I Belong. Not surprising that guys like Linkin Park are something of anime nerds.
Well, being a mega successful band, you can make things happen. The group has teamed up with Bandai to offer a hyper special edition of their album when it’s released in Japan. The special edition will feature a new Gundam, with a color scheme the group designed.
To me, that’s pretty goddamn impressive.
sankakucomplex.com got the word and the picture of the kit that comes with the album. The picture just shows a black and white Gundam, but I guess the final figure will be show upon release. Good on Linkin Park. I’ve loved all their stuff so far, but to be honest, these new songs aren’t catching with me like their older stuff. Eh, probably just me.
