Gareth Edward’s Monsters is giving me the tingles that Cloverfield originally gave me. Then I saw that film and was filled with anger and spite for a good year after. Monsters on the other hand, I think is aiming to do what Cloverfield failed at. Make a survival giant monster film. A good one. There are already good reviews coming off a few festival screenings for this bad boy, so I’m keeping my hopes up.
Especially after seeing this nifty third trailer. I got a damn, damn good feeling about this film.
