No. It’s not a new movie. No, it’s not a remake. It’s a re-release of probably one of the greatest films ever made in it’s home country to celebrate it’s tenth anniversery.
The film’s site, www.br3d.jp has put up the first “trailer” if you will for the re-release. It’s all the stuff that you’ve seen before if you ‘ve seen the film, but if you haven’t, then go to Amazon and buy it damnit!
Is Battle Royale a film that needs to be in 3D? No. But they’re doing it any way. If anything, it’ll just add to it’s allure, which isn’t a bad thing.
