No, I’m not talking about the great Dan Severn, I’m talking about this guy who Stephan Bonnar recorded at an event called FIRE EXTREME FIGHTING. The story is apparently this: A fighter backed out at the last minute. Being that this is an indie show, there’s no time to call in a back up. So, according to the video, this older man was asked at the door, and hour before the fight if he wanted to step in and take the fight. He did. And what happens next is unthefuckbelievable.
Say what you will about the technicality of the fight, but, that was fucking awesome. This dude has the balls to get into a cage, with a guy younger and more prepared than him, and they go for the summit. Goes to show that in MMA, it’s anyone’s game.
