Well, this is it. The US trailer for Ong Bak 3. Magnet films is releasing what is ultimately, for now, the last Tony Jaa film. With all the weird shit that went down during the filming of Ong Bak 2, that Tony was directing, the film was ultimately cut into two. Jaa finished the film with his mentor Panna Rittikrai taking over directorial duties.

I have the film already, haven’t watched it yet, but from what I’ve been told, it’s Jaa’s worst film. He was clearly not into making this film, and just wanted to get it over with. Once the film was complete, Jaa became a monk and is now living in the jungles of Thailand. Ultimately, to wait out the remainder of his exclusive 10 year contract with the studio that produced his film. Sad, the career of the man that was poised to be the next “Bruce Lee” to the world, fizzles out before he can explode.
