I’m not real high on Phoenix. They’re another band in this long line of watered down Alt Rock that seems to have the music scene by the cock. I don’t wish ill on them, they’re just not for me. Sadly, I long for the days of the mid 90’s when great music was at it’s peak. NIN, Garbage, Radiohead, Offspring, and this group.

These two stay out of the public light like a white dude avoids a black neighborhood. Though they are currently scoring Tron Legacy, they pulled a fucking hell of a rabbit out of their hat by dropping in on Phoenix’s encore performance last night at MSG in New York.

I’m not sure, but I don’t think these guys have played state side in a few years, so them showing up out of the blue is akin to a miracle. Enjoy the crappy phone camera quality and listen at they get down with Phoenix with a little Harder Better Faster Stronger.
