Green Lantern is GAY! yup that was the new that broke a few days ago but confirmed this morning all over. But what green Lantern was it? if you guess Hal Jordon you would be wrong. Its actually Alan Scott the first green lantern from Earth 2. He will be re introduced into the new 52 universe as a gay man. If you want to learn more about Alan Scott look him up when you get the chance the character wa created in July 1940 for All-American Comics#16 (watch that comic price sore now) he was created by Bill Finger and Martin Nodell. Although I don’t have a problem with this move as it seems that Marvel is doing the same in fact started with Northstar who has been an openly gay person for quite some time I think its fine its gonna happen but do expect some blow back from this in the coming months, so if your a comic collector this might or might not be something you wanna pick up….
