So Power Rangers Samurai debuted tonight on Nick. It’s Saban’s return to the series that made the company millions almost 20 years ago. Just like the previous incarnations, they splice American actors with the Japanese FX footage. Verdict. Pure nostalgia.
The first episode was a bit weird as it seemed that either the premier episode is aired out of order, or Saban simply did give a shit about introduction and just said “Fuck it” and jumped right into the meat of the show. Other than the odd non intro episode, it’s a great standard Power Ranger show. Kids hopefully will eat this stuff up with huge spoons of sugar.
