Much like Ultraman is celebrating his 45th Anniversary, the Sentai genera is celebrating their 35th! So, in honor of that anniversary, we the general going public (well, at least in Japan) are getting Goukaiger. The newest in the long running Sentai series. The theme this year? Pirates! Yes, Pirate Power Rangers!

I believe that one of the gimmicks of the show is that in honor of the anniversary, the rangers have access to the powers of all the previous 34 incarnations of power rangers. I’d love to see how this goes over when Saban brings the show over next year.
