The insane world of Go Nagai. The man who made me truly fall in love with anime. Devilman, Cutey Honey, and the Mazinger and Getter Robo series. Ah. Such joy. There’s an inept level of insanity to all of these works. Be it chicks with huge tits that kick ass. Possessed people who turn into demons and beat the shit out of each other, or the mere fact that there are dozens of giant robots flying around and fighting. That last bit doesn’t sound too nuts, but watch any of the Mazinger or Robo stuff, and you’ll see.
Which brings me to some Professor Farnsworth style “GOOD NEWS EVERYONE” news. Some time before the year is over, there will be a new Mazinkaiser OVA. The most brutal of Nagai’s giant robot works, the original Mazinkaiser was a big piece of robot dick shoved into a way to small robo vagina. It’s was hardcore, it hurt, but dammit, you wanted more! Mazinkaiser SKL looks to be a double penetration of robot greatness.
